West Monona Youth Sports

Registration for 2025 is now open!  Open to all West Monona students grades 2-8.  
This season we will be participating in the Arena League in Sioux City.  Game days are on Sunday on the following dates: August 24th, September 7th,  21st, and 28th, and October 12th. End of the year league tournament is October 18-19th. Practices will take place in Onawa and be determined by coaches for each level. Optional tournament dates are going to be August 16-17th, September 13-14th, and October 4-5th, depending on coach's discretion.
Interested in coaching? Please volunteer!  We are always looking for helpers who love to share their knowledge of the game.

Registration cost is $30, Jersey is $35.

The mission of the West Monona Youth Volleyball League is to provide athletes an environment that builds confidence, teaches technical skills and development, and a passion for the game of volleyball.

League Philosophy: 

We are committed to ensuring that every athlete has a positive experience that fuels their love of volleyball and competition.  We focus on the process over outcomes and developing a growth mindset; in other words our top priority is always striving to improve and giving each athlete the feedback and tools to help them improve as an athlete and person every day. 

The High School Volleyball team is offering a volleyball camp for an additional fee, August 8th. Cost is $35 per player, payment can be submitted to the high school office by mail. Checks to be paid to OCF-Volleyball. Player information must be submitted by July 31st to guarantee a t-shirt. Any questions can be directed to Alisha Faith. 
 

September 19-20 we will be hosting a home tournament. Please add to your calendar. All West Monona volleyball teams are required to help at the tournament.
