These will be held on Sunday afternoons at the high school gym on October 21 and November 4, November 11; at the elementary gym on October 28.
First and Second Grade boys and girls will be from 2:30-3:00 pm
Third and Fourth Grade boys and girls will be from 3:00-4:00 pm
Fifth and Sixth Grade boys and girls will be from 4:00-5:00 pm
These clinics are free of charge. Kids are welcome to attend, even if they haven't registered to participate in the youth basketball program.
The Onawa Youth Basketball Program is a volunteer, non-profit organization that aims to teach young girls and boys the fundamentals of the game of basketball, focusing on the development of team concepts, as well as individual skills. We strive to teach participants to compete at their highest level of ability, while learning to win and lose with the best of sportsmanship. We provide a safe and abuse-free environment and expect players, coaches and fans to be respectful of each other and all officials and opponents.
