West Monona Youth Sports

Registration for youth basketball will start on 09/09/24 and run through 10/02/24. Youth basketball is for boys and girls in grades K-6th. K-2 registration cost is $50 and 3rd-6th registration cost is $65. Once registration is open, please get your child registered. Once registration is completed the basketball board will put teams together and get that information out to coaches. Coaches will be in touch with practice and game schedules. The Onawa Youth Basketball Program is a volunteer, non-profit organization that aims to teach young girls and boys the fundamentals of the game of basketball, focusing on the development of team concepts, as well as individual skills.  We strive to teach participants to compete at their highest level of ability, while learning to win and lose with the best of sportsmanship.  We provide a safe and abuse-free environment and expect players, coaches and fans to be respectful of each other and all officials and opponents.
